Annelise Gadoury holds a B.A. in Visual Arts from l’Université de Laval (Québec), where she was awarded the prix Sculpture de la foundation La Vigie and was a finalist for the René-Richard grant (1995).
In her artistic practice, Annelise Gadoury creates architectural and atmospheric paintings with an sensitive touch and a focus on the exploration of colour palettes. She also explores still-life and portraiture themes in oil and watercolour painting. Her works are found in several collections in Canada, France, and the United-States.
